The Elmhurst Residence began with a simple brief: a modern family home that never feels cold. The plan is open where it should be and quiet where it must be, with a central spine of living spaces that borrow light from one another throughout the day.
Warm woods, honed stone, and a disciplined neutral palette let the family's own life supply the color. Built-in millwork and custom pieces keep the rooms uncluttered — architecture and interiors working toward the same calm end.
